The Yale Police Department is accepting applications for a Full-Time Police Officer position. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, in good physical condition, no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Full-Time CLEET certification is preferred but not required. The City of Yale offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, pension, paid vacation, holiday and sick leave. The City of Yale has a take home patrol car program for employees that live within a 10- mile radius of the City limits. Patrol Officers work four ten-hour shifts per week with three days off.
